You cannot type in Cheat Codes in Pokémon Platinum without the use of an ILLEGAL CHEATING DEVICE.
If you look carefully on the back of the box, it says that the use of such illegal devices can (and probably will) corrupt your game, making it unusable.
you need a action replay whih usally costs 20.00 then you need to find the codes for i then you enterthem then you have codes and cheats i dont have them for platinum but i dohave them for pearl
you need action replay, codebreaker, or game shark to cheat otherwise there is no way to
it wont do anything to your game unless you overload it with cheats. 10-15 cheats is a safe amount. plus they sell this stuff in stores so it cant be illegal. plus nintendo could stop it. like they didnt let action replay go on the wii. youd have to use the twilight princess hack for the wii

Play the game properly without cheats.

You need an Action Replay, but I wouldn’t recommend using one because they Ruin the whole Game Experience, trust me.
